Today the Youth Leader program in the International department of Shanghai Middle School orgnized by Ms. Susan Zhou holds its graduation ceremony for its 14 young leaders.
This program has altogether 10 sessions started from March till June. They are:
This is a program that Toastmasters International provides for young people in helping them to be confident leaders. I am involved as one of the volunteers. My job is to provide some demos for the youth to know what an effective evaluation is, and how to prepare the final roles and speeches.
After a long journey, we finally have the graduation ceremony today. The event is held in the small auditorium of Shangzhong. 14 students act as different roles in this meeting. We have meeting Chair, Toastmasters of the Day, Timer, Ah-Counter, Grammarian, Table Topics Master, Prepared speakers, Individual Evaluators and General Evaluators.
The 1 hour 15 minutes ceremony is great. I can see the performance and potential of each kid is unlimited.
