This is supposed to be the final report of my DivD term. --- Dear District 85 council team Fellow Toastmasters, Good evening. I am feeling uneasy to present my report about Division N. I will do it in the following parts: 1. Our goal 2. What we have done 3. Impossible is nothing 4. Where leaders are made ## Our goal We had a solid fundation to start as you see that division N was one of the top performers in the last term. We set our goals with caution and confidence - 299 members in division N. I think our goal was a modest goal, not very ambitious. ## What we have done We have done many things for our goals. Toastmasters International is an education organization. We have a systematic way to do things. From the table, you can see that my team did everything by the book and more. We ran COT, NMO and quality contests. We also partnered with other Divisions for AAC and the "Lingduzhe" projects. We worked hard. I am grateful for the team's hard work and contribution. ## Impossible is nothing But hard work alone does not guarantee results. And as leaders, we must own that. Today, with 30 days left in our term… here is the truth. We have 216 members. We have 82 DCP points. We have 6 Distinguished Clubs. The gap is real. The gap is big. After almost 11 months hard working, there are still the final miles to go. Do you believe we can make it? Impossible is nothing. We may not close the gap completely. But we will close it as much as humanly possible. Not for the award. Not for the score. But for our dignity. For our pride. For our Division. ## Where leaders are made Fellow leaders, Toastmasters says: Where Leaders Are Made. A true leader is not someone who only wins when the wind is at their back. A true leader is someone who… when the numbers are down, when the clock is ticking, when everyone expects them to be quiet… Still shows up. Still fights. Still believes. Look into my team's eyes tonight. They are sparkling. Because in Division N… we never give up. Thank you.
