Types of Judges（评委的分类）
In 2024-2025, District 85 will hold the following contests: International Speech Contest, English Evaluation Contest, Chinese Speech Contest, and Chinese Table Topics Contest. In each of these contests, the following judges will be necessary.

Eligibility of Judges（评委的资格）
The Eligibility of judges is clearly defined in the contest rule book (item 1171). In general, contest officials must not serve in more than 1 role for the same contest. Voting judge, tiebreaking judge or chief judge at any level, in any District cannot compete at the same contest type where they serve. Timer, ballot counter, SAA or other contest official role cannot compete at the same contest where they serve. Number of Judges（评委的数目）
At each level of a Toastmasters speech contest, a specified number of voting judges and officials are required.

Guide and Ballot（评分标准和选票）
Ballots for voting judge and tiebreaking judge will be distributed separately. The guide is also included in the ballot for quick check. The guide has very detailed categories and points according to contest type.
Please note that each judge only need submit the lower part of the ballots by filling the name of the contestants carefully and sign/print the judge’s name. The ballots should be destroyed right after the contest.
投票评委和平分评委的选票由总评委分别给出。选票中有详细的评分类别和标准，供评委参考。请注意：每个评委最后仅需上交选票下方带有选手名次和评委签名的部分。签名部分左边是签名，右边是正楷姓名。选票其余部分应在赛后自行销毁。
