The goal of GNU CTT is to translate important articles of the GNU project.
The major part of this goal is to translate the whole website of www.gnu.org from English to Simplified Chinese.
If you like to learn English, and you understand the basic philosophy of Free Software, you are welcome to join.

You don’t need to register for Savannah nor GNU CTT.
All the articles that need translation are at https://www.gnu.org/software/gnun/reports/report-zh-cn.html. You can pick any one you like and make sure it is not being translated by another translator by checking the Tasks.
If you are a member, you can create a task at our task page above.
That’s all the process.
I prefer to use GNU Emacs to do my translation. GNU Emacs is a powerful tool. You can search the internet and find numerous learning materials.
OmegaT is a CAT - computer aided translation tool, and it is free/liber software. It is cross platform - you can use it under GNU, macOS and Windows. It is a GUI application so you may be more familiar with this kind of applications.
You can download and install it by visiting https://omegat.org/.
This is basically how you can start contribute to GNU CTT and a better world where all software is free software.
